Junior Social Creative
Full-time, office-based preferred (5 days), open to hybrid for the right candidate
Brighton, UK
Salary bracket: £26,227.50 (Brighton Living Wage) – £28,000.00
Role Summary
We’re looking for a Junior Social Creative to support the hands-on creative production behind our roster’s digital and social campaigns. This role is focused on execution and craft: turning raw footage, photography and assets into short-form content that’s ready to post, complete with on-screen text and captions.
Video editing is the primary focus, but you’ll also work on graphics and still-image content for accounts that need it, and occasionally capture content yourself, in person at shows and shoots, working directly with artists.
You’ll work closely with our Campaign Managers and Strategy Leads to bring campaign ideas to life, helping translate strategy into content that actually performs.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Content is edited and delivered accurately, on time, and to a high standard, across both video and stills/graphics
Assets, files, and folders are organised and easy for the team to find and reuse
Campaign Managers can hand off raw footage and trust it’ll come back ready to post
Your edits consistently perform well against what’s currently working on TikTok, Reels and Shorts
You capture strong, usable content on the day when you’re at a show or shoot
You proactively bring fresh formats and ideas back to the team, rather than waiting to be told what to make
Key Responsibilities
1. Editing & Content Production
Edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) from tour, studio and press footage for artist social channels
Create graphics and still-image content (carousels, cover art crops, static posts)
Add on-screen text, captions/subtitles and simple motion graphics to finished edits
Support high-cadence campaign periods (tours, releases) with consistency and quick turnaround
2. Asset & Workflow Organisation
Organise and maintain asset banks from shoots, tours and label deliveries so content is easy to find and reuse
Maintain organised file structures across campaigns (Google Drive/Dropbox, version control)
Keep content calendars and rollout plans up to date with finished assets
3. On-Site Content Capture (Ad Hoc)
Attend selected shows and shoots to capture social-first and behind-the-scenes content directly, working alongside the artist and their team
Shoot phone-first, native-feeling content ready for quick-turnaround edits
This is occasional rather than constant, and may include some evenings/weekends around shows — we’ll always give as much notice as possible
4. Creative Support Across the Roster
Support Campaign Managers with day-to-day creative execution across several artist accounts at once
Collaborate with Campaign Managers and Strategy Leads on ideation, based on platform trends and each artist’s tone
Jump in wherever creative support is needed — no two weeks look the same
5. Trends & Platform Awareness
Keep an eye on what’s working on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and bring fresh formats back to the team
Stay informed on cultural and platform trends relevant to the artists we work with
A Day in the Life
Reviewing raw footage from a shoot or live show and selecting the strongest moments for an edit
Cutting a short-form video, adding captions and on-screen text, and prepping it for a Campaign Manager to review
Putting together a graphic or carousel post for an artist whose content leans more visual than video
Organising footage and assets into folders so the wider team can find and reuse them
Checking in on what’s trending on TikTok/Reels and testing a new format on one of our accounts
Occasionally, heading to a show or shoot to capture content on the ground with an artist
Jumping between two or three different artist accounts in a single day
What We’re Looking For
Some hands-on experience editing video and creating social-first content — through an agency, in-house, freelance, or a strong personal portfolio/reel
Comfortable with editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut or After Effects
Comfortable with graphics/still-image tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom or Canva
Confident shooting content yourself on the day (phone-first capture) when at a show or shoot, not just editing footage handed to you
A sharp, current eye for what actually performs in short-form social
A genuine passion for music, artists and culture
Organised enough to juggle multiple artists and deadlines at once
Proactive — you don’t wait to be told, you look for the next thing to improve
Nice to Have (Not Essential)
Experience in music, entertainment, social media or advertising
Basic motion graphics or graphic design skills
Experience shooting content live at events, shows or activations
Experience working across multiple concurrent client accounts
You are not expected to be a strategist or campaign lead, but you should be comfortable taking creative direction and running with it.
Growth & Progression
This role offers a clear path to grow your creative and editorial skills across a genuinely high-profile roster. As you develop, you’ll take on more creative ownership and a wider range of accounts.
